The Wittmer's: Colton TWO Months old already!!!

at TWO months COLTON is...

wearing size 1 diapers! wearing 0-3 month clothes (carters 3 finally) & size 1 shoes!

is 11lbs 15oz {64%} in weight & 23 inches tall. he has grown over 2 inches in a month and a half.

eating well. i wish he would eat better in the middle of the night instead of nursing for 2 minutes and falling back asleep... then he would probably finish off the night. i am going to work on this! : )

sleeping well. lately been trying to put him in the bassinet awake. {which is hard to do b/c i just want to love on him and rock him to sleep while he is in my arms... i just know that bad habits can start early... i might as well try for another good sleeper. i'll keep you posted}

one more thing about sleep... his is so LOUD! in the past 2 weeks he has been waking up in the middle of the night and just laying there awake. no crying, no cooing, just noisy grunting and breathing. honestly i complain but i love the sounds of my beautiful little man. what a blessing he has been to us. we are so lucky!

don't know if i should include this in his 2 months post or save for next month... he is sleeping through he night. first night was 0ctober 31st and it has been three nights in a row... 9:45ish to bed and wake up around 6ish ~ nurse~ back to bed until around 8:30!!! Who Hoo!!!

two months and counting for having daddy's blue eyes...we are excited but will love another brown eyed baby if we have one!

smiling a lot. he loves to stare at sister and smile. they are really starting to interact lately. she has definitely started enjoying her big sister roll and loves her baby brother.

loves his play-mat. he is reaching for the objects & loves looking in the mirror. big sister keeps on putting the mirror in his face... a little too close i say...

beginning to coo a lot. my favorite thing to do is sit with my knee up in front of me and place little man colt in between my legs and just talk away. i love that colton is now responding with smiles and coo's, gurgle's & sigh's. they say this is the first sign of language and any kid of mine sure knows how to talk! haha! i love it!!!!

oh i know i am forgetting something.... i have not been as good this month writing notes for his 2 month post...

oh he had his first bottle while we were on our date. none since and i don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing...
