So it is the beginning of October and in our house that not only means football is in full swing -- It means that our house is going to get a makeover both inside & out! We head into the attic to bring down our decorations for Halloween! Halloween kicks off our favorite time of year and our love for decorating...
this is just the beginning for Christmas we go crazier!!!
Decorating for us is a process...it takes a while for us to get it just the way we want it...So I'll post our finished product soon.... the reason for this post is actually something Ashlyn did...
So the other day (October 1st ~ Sorry have not been on my blog in a while) I left to run a few errands and Eric kept Ashlyn at home with him. They were going to wash the car and surprise Mommy and get a few Halloween decorations down. Eric headed up into the attic and about a minute later he hears a little voice saying, "Dadda, Dadda" Eric thought her voice sounded close...he turns around and sees Ashlyn on the top step of our 8 Foot Ladder! Yikes he quickly gets down & gets her down! So he is thinking to himself ~ Tiff will never believe this ~ He is wrong & right....cause I would have believed him just could not believe these pictures. Check them out! Yep that is our MONKEY CHILD at 18 MONTHS OLD CLIMBING OUR 8 FOOT LADDER!!! There are children at the daycare that can not climb easy steps at 2 years old, let alone climb a real ladder!

Let's just say the ladder will always be put away now! Haha!
I have to say some people say it in a negative way that our little Ashlyn is active. Eric and I feel blessed that we have a highly coordinated child. She does play rough but that is the way Eric & I (mostly Eric) have tried to raise her. He never wanted a sissy girl...he didn't get one!
