wearing size 4 diapers, size 4 & 5 shoes, size 18 mo clothes (still fits into her 12 mo pants & some long sleeve shirts)
saying many new words. her are the ones to add to last months list. i am sure there are a few more that i am missing it is getting hard to keep track...
airplane, bite, shoe, "naaaa" ~ snack (ok so she was saying this for over a week before I was able to figure out what "naaaa" meant... bad mommy but I eventually figured it out!), tank you, ness you ~ bless you, pider ~ spider, oou-si ~ outside...
beginning to understand and use phrases.... "bless you", i love you, thank you, hear you go, where are you... and she actually knows when to use them. i love to listen and be a part of her language development. everyday she trys to say a new word. so fun!
helping us feed the dogs now! we decided since she like to help so much it can become her new "chore" with our help. i guess it makes sense why she knows how because we do the same routine twice a day and she is usually watching closely. here are her steps...1 - go get the bowls from the backyard. 2 - set the bowls on the step in the garage. 3 - mommy opens the dog food bin and scoops the dog food into the scooper. 4 - ashlyn dumps a scoop into each bowl. 5 - she then stacks the bowls one on top of the other, up the steps and sits down on the kitchen floor with both bowls between her legs. 6 - mommy puts a spoonful of wet dog food & a splash of water into each bowl & hands them right back to ashlyn. 7 - she stirs all the food....round and round...in the the bowl. she would do this for 10 minutes if i let her... 8 - then outside we go. she sits on the steps and yells "sit" "sit" to the doggies. 9 - once they sit they get their bowl. and ashlyn has completed her "chore" IT IS SO ADORABLE!!!
understanding multiple commands in a row. ok not talking about dog commands but actually able to follow several directions. ex: please go to the table, open the drawer and get the white remote...then bring it back to me! and she does it! awesome! i love it.
beginning to sort items. she is starting to understand that some things look alike and belong together. maybe it is all the organizing i have been doing around the house...it could be rubbing off!
little miss social! says hello to almost everyone in the grocery store. loves to ham it up and give them the charming i know i'm cute smile... uh oh....she is going to give daddy trouble!
