So up until now I have been doing weekly posts for Colton... now that he is one month I am going to be posting once a month for both Ashlyn & Colton! Don't worry family there will be posts in between! : )

at ONE month COLTON is...
finally wearing size 1 diapers! wearing newborn clothes & shoes!
eating better....still a snacker! he is also a great burper...
ashlyn was not at all...
sleeping great. i found the trick. after we put ashlyn to bed around 9:30 we wake colton up and spend some love time together. we find if we wake him up for at least an hour he sleeps a nice 6 hours. that is jsut waht mommy needs. so now his schedule is bedtime around 11 and wake up around 5! feed back to sleep and up between 8-9! woo hoo! lets keep it going!
still our little noisy sleeper. now that eric and i have adjusted to his sounds it really is precious. i love listening to him grunt and moan trying to get comfy.
still has daddy's blue eyes...not trying to jinks it but hoping for a blue eyed baby!
starting to smile and not gas smiles... have not been able to capture any on camera yet, hopefully by next month.
starting to enjoy his awake time. he follows our voices with his eyes and looks around at colors and sister moving fast around him.
TOUGH!!! big sister ashlyn has: 1- accidently dropped our little tikes basketball hoop on him. 2- picked colt up on her own. luckily mommy was right there and she actually picked him up well. lets hope this does not happen too often. 3- his carseat was in ashlyn's way one day while i was loading him up to go...and he almost got pushed off. good thing i was there to stop that one too...like i said tough! yeah he might not have a choice with a big sister like her. she really loves him and is a great big sister and helper to mommy, there have been a few close calls! haha!

Well little man, Colt! We love you and are so happy you are in our lives! We are so blessed to have such a healthy baby. I thank God everyday! Happy ONE MONTH birthday! I can't believe it... you are growing too fast already!
