The Wittmer's: Colton {my baby} is THREE months old

Today my little man COLTON turns THREE months old!

i really can not believe it. i do not know where the time has gone. well here we go with his updates!

COLTON at THREE months is....

...wearing size 1 diapers, size 1 shoes, size 0-3 & just started some 3-6 clothes.

...still and i mean still a LOUD sleeper! he has made it into the hallway. well at least most nights. i am not ready for him to be in the crib in the kids room yet so he is in the hallways so eric can sleep. colton makes noise all night long not just when he is waking up...all night...gurgles, coos, stretches, etc. but I LOVE the sounds. i know he will only be a baby so long and those sounds will go away... i love my loud sleeping son!

...favorite toy: MOMMY! this little man loves me! i was not going to write this but it is true. i don't know if it is the whole mother/son bond...but i am definitely feeling something different. the way he looks at me, smiles at me, it is just different than for anyone else. i don't remember that being the case for ashlyn during her 3rd month. definitely after when she went through her mommy only phase but not before then.

...enjoyed his 1st thanksgiving. we traveled to three houses and saw all of our grandparents & great-grandparents! what a busy but perfect day!

...laughing. colton is giggling a lot mostly when ashlyn, daddy or myself are acting silly in his face but recently when we are doing actions away from him too. yesterday ashlyn and i were dancing and acting silly and he was laughing away (i am guessing we were dancing funny) whenever i take his hands and clap them he laughs too! so cute! love this memory!

...sleeping well...mostly going to bed around 8:45-9:00 and waking up for the day around 9:00ish. he will wake up around 3m & 6am to eat but not everyday. occasionally he is sleeping from 9pm-6am (no feedings) what an angel!

...feeding about every 3 hours. sometimes longer sometimes less. but i would say on average every 3 hours.... on the lines of feeding.... he is not liking or wanting the bottle. i have been working and working with him to take a bottle. this month i needed to leave him with eric during my photo workshop and as of that week he would not take one. so we worked so hard. i went on a bottle shopping spree and bought every type of bottle/nipple they sell. the winner {right now} is playtex drop-ins. love them cause they are super convenient and easy to clean. since he does not need many bottles i only bought 2 of this type and returned the rest... let's hope colton does not change his mind : )

...lastly colton love to talk...well baby talk...coo...the funny thing is it actually sounds like he is answering you. we will ask him a question or tell him something and he replies with an "awe" or a "haaaaa" or an "oohhh"...note to self we need to get this on video not easy to explain in words.
