He has been to the doctor every single day this week...ugh...not been to football which is not by choice, still not able to pick up Ashlyn (she does not understand), he is feeling depressed because he has not been able to help around the house ~ honestly I don't mind. He is doing the best he can!
Yesterday the PD called him in for light duty and he said there was no way he could sit or stand for 10 hours... but he went in this morning to try it out. Eric cares so much about his job and his reputation. I am proud of him and admire him for wanting to get better. So many people would be milking it! He is NOT! DEFINITELY NOT!
So off to work he went with his muscle stimulator on & his ice chest packed as usual! I hope they allow him to be in a comfortable position I am sure they will...back injuries with cops are so common. I guess there are a few other officers on light duty too so they will have a fun day goofing off while working hard I am sure!
More info as I get it...But happy today was a more positive post!

ps: He looked so handsome...they don't wear their uniform when on light duty so he was in slacks and a dress shirt...so adorable! : )
